SEO lets the generated theme own page titles, descriptions, social metadata, and editor SEO checks without depending on the TemplateX plugin.

What The SEO Module Owns#

When enabled, TemplateX registers native WordPress hooks for:

  • document titles
  • meta descriptions
  • Open Graph metadata
  • Twitter metadata
  • editor-side SEO guidance

The module is off by default. When it is off, the generated theme does not register TemplateX SEO title filters or wp_head metadata output.
